2026 Election Proves Prayer Is Powerless

Mike Johnson proves prayer is powerless in election 2026

Christian Nationalist Speaker Of The House Mike Johnson said that Republican prayer teams would ensure that the Republicans would win the 2026 congressional elections.

The Republicans lost with the biggest margin in 50 years. That result proves that prayer is powerless and the Christian God is not real.

Stop Christian nationalism.

Today is November 4th, 2026, it is the day after Election Day, and, oh, my golly, did we have an Election Day, or what?

This is the biggest upset in a congressional midterm election since the 1970s.

That's after Watergate with Richard Nixon. That's what we're talking about here.

The scale of the rejection of the agenda of the Republican Party, and the agenda of the Republican Party has been fascist Christian nationalism.

The American people have spoken in a clear voice. You cannot mistake what they are saying here.

In Mississippi, in a congressional district in Mississippi, they elected a trans woman.

That's how strongly people are saying, we don't like this radical, fascist, Christian, nationalist agenda.

Of course, this is not what the Republicans thought would happen. Specifically I'm thinking about the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, a Christian nationalist back in July.

Here's what he had to say about what would happen in this election:

“The American people can trust Republicans, the Republican Party, to run this government, and we keep delivering. We're do that run all the way through towards the end of the year to the end of the year and I believe for this reason we're gonna win the midterms. I'm very bullish about the outcome and we talk about it all the time. With each passing day, I'm more confident.

You, as you repeatedly say, you exceed the expectations of the pundits, they still don't understand the power of prayer.

That's right. And look, I've been openly saying this. I told a big gaggle of hill press reporters yesterday in an event. I said, listen, this is a, this is a god thing. It really is, and we have intercessor free prayers who are on the ground at the Capitol, praying each of these things through. My colleagues know that. I believe that, and we're watching it happen.”

Did you hear that? Mike Johnson was saying to another guy who, I believe, was Tony Perkins, a another Christian nationalist extremist, that, um, you know, the Republicans were gonna win because the Republican plan for winning the midterm congressional elections in 2026 was to have prayer teams, intercessory prayer teams, going out there and praying to God that God delivered this that God overturn the will of the American people and give the election to the Republican party.

Now, God is not an American. God is not registered to vote. So Mike Johnson was, essentially, asking a magical supernatural alien to come into the United States and interfere with the American elections.

Now, we happen to be really lucky because that magical being, that spiritual alien creature that Mike Johnson worships and thinks is more important than the will of the American people, that spirit, that magical hoo hoo being does not exist.

There is no God, and if you want any bigger proof of this, just take a look at the election yesterday.

Christians were praying. They were praying. They were getting down on their knees and putting their hands together poem to poem, and they were saying, oh, dearest Jesus. Oh God, oh mother Mary, the virgin who loves us all, and the Holy Spirit, will you please deliver the irksome? Will you please give it to the Republican Party, so that we can continue to have our Christian nationalist fascism and anti-woke, because we don't like enlightened ideas. We just, well, please God. I call upon your heavenly Father. Give us the election.

You know what happened? Nothing happened. That's because they were just talking to themselves. They were just babbling nonsense to themselves. They were getting down on their knees and they were talking to empty air.

There is no fucking God that is going to control this election and deliver it for the Republicans. Prayer is powerless. We just got proof of that.

Now, I just want to say if you want to thank somebody for what happened, for what happened today to deliver us from fascism, from religious authoritarianism.

You know who you need to thank? You need to thank a non-Christian American. Specifically, you might think, an atheist.

Because, you know, there were exit polls, as there usually are.

This is a method of surveying in which they send people out all across the country and they interview people as they're leaving and say, hey, how did you vote and can I get some more information about you?

So that we can begin to understand patterns of voting.

This is from NBC News, and they conducted one of these exit surveys, and they found that golly, about 27% of the people who were leaving the voting booths were non-religious. They don't have a religion. That's atheism, guys.

That was almost 30% of the people. 10% were something else, 3% were Jewish. And then there were 60% Christians. That's about what the American population looks like right now.

Do you know which group did the best job of standing up to Christian, nationalist, fascist, Republicans across the country? It was atheists.

The group of non-religious Americans. 78% of them voted for the Democrat.

Only 20% of non-religious Americans voted for the Republicans.

Now, that goes down a little bit to religious non-Christians, where it was about 12% fewer voting for the Democrats, and about 11% more, voting for Republicans.

But boy, if you take a look at Protestants or other Christians, this group of people, the Christian voters, 60% of them voted to reelect Republicans, only 39% of them, just a little bit over a third, voted for a Democrat.

The Christian vote is out of touch with the American public, and the Christian vote was defending Christian nationalist fascism to the last minute. They didn't get convinced. They didn't listen to people. They didn't pay attention to their neighbors.

It was the hard work of non-Christian Americans that has turned the tide and given us a chance to escape the authoritarian Christian nationalist regime of Donald Trump, this doddering old fool, this selfish billionaire, who is using the public office to enrich himself and his family, and he is trashing American democracy, and he's ruining the economy.

I mean, The Republican Party, Mike Johnson, they promised in 2024, they said, boy, you elected us Christian nationalists, and now we're going to show you what happens when you put Christianity into power, and boy, did they ever.

They started unnecessary wars that drove up the prices of gasoline of diesel, and therefore drove up the prices of everything. It's made life practically unaffordable for most Americans.

At the same time, they had started accepting multi-billion dollar bribes in Congress, in the White House, the corruption under Christian government has been staggering, giving the cryptocurrency, scam industry, carte blanche, to go ahead and just, Rip off the American people. You know what's been happening with masked secret police in the streets of the United States of America, ripping people out of their cars, tearing families apart, shooting people dead on the street, arresting reporters just for filming what they're doing? Setting up concentration camps across the United States of America, and then taking money away from medicine, for the sick and food, for the hungry, homes for people who are struggling in life, they took that away.

Christian government, Christian Nationalism has turned out to be heartless and cruel and corrupt and selfish and destructive.

We have the chance now to stand up to Donald Trump, to investigate the crimes that have been going on under the name of Jesus. Maybe we can start with the impeachment of Pete Hegseth, who has made the United States military into a church organization, a crusade to go to war and bomb people in the name of Jesus.

We could start there, but boy, we have a lot more to do. Don't think that victory has been achieved, and now you can just sit back and let Congress do its job because they're not going to do their job unless we hold their feet to the fire unless we continue to pressure them.

We have gotten results not through prayer, not through having church meetings, not through getting down on our knees and putting our hands together and closing our eyes and swaying back and forth and calling upon spirits. It has been hard human work, people networking people getting out on the streets and protesting and showing that they will not stand for Christian nationalist fascism.

We have to keep up that heat until we get Donald Trump out of office and all of his corrupt cabinet members too.

In 2028, it is now just a hair less than 2 years until election day 2028. We need to keep this majority of anti-fascism in Congress, and we need to put an anti-fascist, Democrat, not because the Democratic Party is perfect, but because we cannot have any more Christian nationalism there, and we need to have somebody who will take a strong stand for the simple freedoms of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights. 1st among them, the separation of church and state in the very 1st amendment, to the Constitution of the United States of America.

This is not the time to sit down and relax, and celebrate, certainly, go out and celebrate, be happy about it, but now let's go to work.

Let's think about 2028. And put an end to fascist, Christian, nationalism in the United States of America, once and for all.

Stop Christian nationalism.
