Fascist Military Christians Say Iran War Is Armageddon

Top military commanders in the US Armed Forces are issuing orders to tell soldiers that their mission is to begin the battle of Armageddon in order to provoke the Second Coming of Jesus.

Christian Nationalist officers throughout the US military are issuing plans for the end of the world.

It’s day four of the war against Iran, and things are getting ugly.

A report from journalist Jonathan Larsen reveals that there have been over 100 complaints from within the US military, from 40 different military units at 30 different locations, about extremist violent Christian Nationalist commands coming from top military officers. These complaints detail orders to instruct soldiers, sailors, and pilots in the US military that the war against Iran is being fought in order to provoke the battle of Armageddon in order to bring about the Second Coming of Jesus, who will then destroy the world.

One of these complaints reports:

“This morning our commander opened up the combat readiness status briefing by urging us to not be ‘afraid’ as to what is happening with our combat operations in Iran right now. He urged us to tell our troops that this was ‘all part of God’s divine plan’ and he specifically referenced numerous citations out of the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ. He said that ‘President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth’.”

These complaints are being received by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, an organization that facilitates whistleblowers who have experienced Christian Nationalist indoctrination and discrimination from military officers and institutions. The Foundation says of Christian End Times propaganda currently being spread throughout the military:

“Our MRFF clients report the unrestricted euphoria of their commanders and command chains as to how this new “biblically-sanctioned” war is clearly the undeniable sign of the expeditious approach of the fundamentalist Christian “End Times" as vividly described in the New Testament Book of Revelation. Many of their commanders are especially delighted with how graphic this battle will be zeroing in on how bloody all of this must become in order to fulfill and be in 100% accordance with fundamentalist Christian end of the world eschatology.”

The Military Freedom of Religion Foundation is a great organization that makes itself available to soldiers and sailors and pilots, people in the U.S. Military to report instances of religious abuse.

This is actually quite common in the military. It's become more common since Donald Trump became president and appointed Pete Hegseth to become Secretary of Defense and now calling himself Secretary of War.

Because Pete Hegseth has made it quite plain that his goal is to establish the U.S. Military as a Christian organization dedicated to Jesus and God and killing.

What we're seeing right now, is a consequence of that attitude.

The report from the military freedom of religion foundation is alarming because it is systematic. Complaints have come in from over 40 different military units in 30 different locations around the world.

These reports are stating that military commanders are directing their non-commissioned officers to tell soldiers that this war against Iran is being done in the name of Jesus so that the end times can come. So that the book of Revelation can be enacted upon the earth.

The Book of Revelation is incredibly sadistic. It's violent, it's cruel. It celebrates human misery, as the culmination of the teachings of Jesus.

You often hear people talk about the teachings of Jesus, as if they're just restricted to the Sermon on the Mount. Boy, a lot of that sounds really great, the Sermon on the Mount, but that's like looking at just one scene from a movie and thinking that you understand what the movie is.

If you just look at the Sermon on the Mount, with Jesus, giving his speeches in that one scene.

If you look at the entire New Testament, you get a very different character arc for Jesus.

And by the end of the New Testament, Jesus becomes someone very different from who he was when he was giving those very nice speeches, those very nice sermons on the mount, about respecting the poor and being giving to people in peace and all of that.

By the end of the New Testament, Jesus has thrown away all of that.

You will hear a lot of people say, oh, the Book of Revelation, that's not that's not really Jesus, but actually, the Bible is very clear about this.

It's canon, and it refers to the Book of Revelation as, “the testimony of Jesus”.

This is Jesus talking in the Book of Revelation.

And according to the Book of Revelation, it's Jesus coming back and giving the word of God about what's going to happen and what Jesus wants too, and speaking through an angel to somebody who writes it all down.

Let's take a look at what the Book of Revelation says is going to happen.

There are a series of angels. That are blowing their trumpets, and they are sent by God and by Jesus, by the way.

These are not demonic. These are not something sent by anybody called the devil or the beast or Satan. This is the plan of Jesus and God. The 1st angel blows a trumpet, and a 3rd of the earth burns up. Fire and hail and blood come down from the sky, and destroy a 3rd of the earth, and everything that's living on that 3rd, including the people.

A 2nd angel, sent by God and by Jesus, blows a trumpet, and there's a great burning mountain that falls into the sea because of that, and one 3rd of the sea becomes blood, and a 3rd of all of the things that are living in the ocean die, and a 3rd of the human ships that are on the ocean are destroyed, and everybody killed.

A 3rd trumpet comes, and a stark that's called wormwood falls from the skies, and 13rd of the rivers, and the springs in all of the waters, essentially, on the earth, the fresh water become what the Bible describes as bitter, essentially polluted, and a huge number of people across the earth die because of that.

And animals are dying, and essentially the entire earth is dying, or a 3rd of it, at least. You know, two-thirds are left. That's not compassionate.

This is a teaching of Jesus, that this is going to happen and it's righteous.

The 4th angel sent by Jesus and God blows a trumpet, and the sky becomes dark. The sun goes away. Can you just imagine what's going to happen to the earth if the sun goes away?

Franklin Graham is the son of Billy Graham. Billy Graham was a radical right wing Christian nationalist who encouraged President Nixon to blame Jews for everything wrong that was happening to America there in the White House, encouraging presidents of the United States to engage in radical right wing behavior for decades.

Now Franklin Graham is doing the same thing. Franklin Graham has sent out a message on social media, in which he is citing the gospel according to Matthew chapter 24, talking about how the Gospel of Matthew is a prophecy of the current war by the USA against Iran.

And this is part of the Gospel of Matthew in which Jesus is saying, essentially, that what's happening in the book of Revelation is going to happen. This is the precursor.

So you see, you can't say that the Book of Revelation is not linked to Jesus, that it's somehow separate from the gospels, that it doesn't count, because Jesus himself said that people would mourn his 2nd coming because it was going to be so terrible.

Here's what that chapter of the gospel according to Matthew says, the one quoted by Franklin Graham.

"Then will appear the sign of the son of man in heaven, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory, and he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds from one end of the heavens to the other.”

Franklin Graham sent out this message in order to claim that this war with Iran is bringing about this prophecy from the gospels of the new testament, the gospel according to Matthew, which leads into the book of Revelation, the book of Revelation gets worse, the 5th angel.

Well, that's a particular favorite of mine in chapter 9. Of the book of Revelation.

I encourage you to look this up because a lot of people think this can't possibly be the case, but there it is in print.

This is Jesus saying what the next part of his plan for his 2nd coming is going to be.

In chapter 9 of the book of Revelation, a 5th angel sounds a trumpet, and opens up a pit out of which comes a horde of monsters.

These monsters have the bodies of locusts, they have the tails of scorpions, they have the faces of men, they have battle armor on them. They have long hair and crowns on their heads, and the king of these monsters is explicitly referred to as an angel, not as a devil, not as a demon, not as Satan, not as the beast, and this monster, and his horde of monsters, his swarm of monsters. The monsters come out to do the will of Jesus, and God, and the angels, and the will of God and the angels, and Jesus is that they attack all of the non-Christians around the world.

They're not allowed to kill their victims. No, instead, they sting them, and the Bible says that these stings are so agonizing, that the pain from these things lasts for 5 months, and that people will beg to die. They can't stand the pain, they can't stand the suffering, but Jesus says that they will not be allowed to die.

They will be forced to suffer. They will be given no mercy by Jesus. They will be tortured for 5 months straight.

I want you to take that in the context of the suffering that was said to sanctify Jesus, and to be a sign of his holiness, that suffering on the cross.

Experts say that Jesus was on the cross for about 3 hours, a little bit of abuse before that, so let's say, oh, let's give him a total of 10 hours of suffering. That's the agony that Jesus went through, 10 hours, okay?

Now Jesus is coming back and inflicting the worst suffering imaginable on almost all of humanity, all of the non-Christians for 5 months straight.

More goes on in the Book of Revelation, like the great wine press of the wrath of God in which Jesus and his angels gather up all of the non-Christians on the earth, who are referred to as the sour grapes, right?

These grapes are harvested, they are gathered up, and they are put into a giant wine press. This is a thing that smashes grapes to get their wine out to get their juice out so that it can be made into wine, only in this wine press, it's going to be human bodies that are being crushed, so that all their blood flows out.

And how many people is that? Well, once again, the book of Revelation is very explicit, Jesus says that so many people are going to be crushed by him and his angels, that their blood will form a lake that is about 6 feet deep, and is about the size of Lake Erie.

They refer to this in terms of the measurement of stadia, which is a Roman imperial measurement, but it's about the size of Lake Erie in 6 feet deep, the blood from all the non-Christians in the world, crushed to death.

The vision of the Book of Revelation is one of vengeance for the crucifixion of Jesus, one that blames all of the non-Christians on the earth for that crucifixion.

The whole narrative arc of the New Testament is one in which Jesus starts out as a nice guy, but then he's treated wrong, and then he becomes angry, and then he comes back and he's decided enough with peace and love and understanding.

We're going to have violence and cruelty, and we are going to win.

The purpose of the book of Revelation and the 2nd coming of Jesus is to defeat all of the non-Christians on earth, blaming all of them for the crucifixion of Jesus so, so long ago.

Well, okay, that's not quite true, actually, because, that chapter in the Gospel of Matthew that I read from before, well, that said that all of these things, all of these terrible, terrible things, the end of the world, it's going to happen within a generation after when Jesus was crucified.

Well, that didn't happen, did it?

That's one of the worst things too about this, is that the people who believe in this, the people who believe that they are going to get signs of the biblical end times of Armageddon, of the book of Revelation.

They can't even read their own damned holy book and get it right. If they did read the Bible with a rational mindset, seeing the Gospel of Matthew, they would just say, “Oh, well, that was wrong. The world did not end one generation after the death of Jesus. We're all still here. So I guess none of this is true.”

That's not how they read it. They ignore the parts that they don't want to understand. Because what they want is cruelty. What they want is wrath.
