Mycologists are experts on what is possible when life gets weird. Life under the fascism of Donald Trump is definitely getting weird, but not in a fungal way.

A fungus is the natural world's agent of redistribution of resources, moving nutrients from here to there in a strangely intelligent way, but Donald Trump doesn't do distribution of resources. He just hacks and slashes in a haphazard kind of way, and then tries to gobble up as many resources for himself as he can. That's why mycologists are against Trump. He's just not healthy for America's political ecosystem.
