Ichthyologists Against Trump

While most people admire the surface of the water, ichthyologists look beneath, to where the action is. What they're now seeing is deeply troubling: a global crisis unfolding in ocean and freshwater ecosystems.

Fish populations are being ravaged by human actions, with climate change, pollution, and overfishing among the most serious threats. Donald Trump is making it worse.

Compounding the problem, Donald Trump has been dismantling environmental protections, cutting scientific research funding, and firing government experts who study ecological issues. Trump’s administration has rolled back critical regulations and promoting the very industrial activities that are causing the destruction of fish populations and other animals marine and freshwater settings.

This is a call to action. As scientists and as human beings with no alternative planet to move to, it's time to raise our voices and stand up as ichthyologists against Trump!
