People have many different reasons for opposing the authoritarian regime of Donald Trump.
When we ask, “Who is against Trump?” the question itself sparks a challenge to the confluence of Christian Nationalism and the criminal presidency of Donald Trump. The question provokes us to explore the many different reasons that Americans are being moved to oppose Trump. The diversity of individuals and groups engaged in resistance illustrates one of the most important differences between Donald Trump and his opponents: Whereas Donald Trump can tolerate no dissent, the resistance to Trump’s fascism thrives because of its diversity. The resistance is not united. Instead, we are many voices, finding common cause in our defiance.
