Get Your Church Off My State

In a democracy, the state belongs to the people - to all of them, not just to members of one religion.

Christian Nationalists don’t see it that way. They believe that Christianity should take control of the state, place it under the authority of their churches, and use that power to control everyone’s private lives.

That’s what they mean when they say “One Nation Under God”.

That’s why Americans who still believe in liberty and democracy are taking a stand against the Christian Nationalist Pledge of Allegiance. In response, our demand is clear: Get your church off my state!

We want separation of church and state.
