The Pledge of Allegiance is a slogan of religious fascism, not a statement of common ground.

In this meme, the Statue of Liberty stops MAGA Jesus in his tracks and says: Take your Pledge and shove it. America is under no god!

It’s in the Constitution: There shall be no religious test for public office. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.

When the Pledge of Allegiance declares the USA to be “One Nation Under God”, it is breaking its own promise of liberty and justice for all. There can be no liberty and no justice in a country where one religion is allowed to take control of the government and force everyone to live under its rules.

The Pledge of Allegiance is an anachronism that has no place in any public school classroom.
