Jesus ended up as a Christian Nationalist fascist
You’ll hear a lot about how Donald Trump and his Christian Nationalists fascists don’t follow the teachings of Jesus.
They say MAGA Republicans are not “true Christians”. The truth is much darker than that.
The full character arc of Jesus Christ as written in the Bible shows that while Jesus may have started preaching love and forgiveness, by the end of the story, Jesus has become a hateful, vengeful, violent, power-hungry fascist.
Even during the Gospels, Jesus warned that he was going to come back not in order to unite people, but to divide them from each other. Jesus explained that he didn’t want to create peace. His goal was to sow discord.
"Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword." - Matthew 10:34
The more time went on, the less loving and forgiving Jesus became. Jesus became angry and issued threats against people who dared to disagree with him. Jesus began to preach threats of painful torture to those who would not join his cult.
"The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." - Matthew 13:41
Jesus became a narcissist, exhibiting the classic characteristics of a cult leader.
“As for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me." - Luke 19:27
Eventually, Jesus set one standard of morality above all others: Obey Jesus.
"If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned." - John 15:6
In the Book of Revelation, Jesus declared that he hated Christians who did not have sex in the way that he wanted them to have sex. Jesus then went on to make threats of global wars of genocide. Jesus encouraged merciless torture and killing. Jesus explained that his goal is to become the totalitarian ruler of the entire world, with armies that slaughter everyone who stands in his way.
“From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty." Revelation 19:15
Some Christian apologists will try to convince you that Christianity was the salvation of Judaism, that while the god of the Old Testament was wrathful and violent, the god of the New Testament was loving and gentle. This simply isn’t accurate.
Read the entire New Testament, and see where Jesus and God arrive as characters in its final chapters. You’ll see that the narrative of Christianity is ultimately about rejecting peace and love in order to wage a campaign of religious violence and terror in order to gain absolute power.
