The final message of the Christian Bible is that the powerful get to do whatever you want, and have the right to punish you with vicious cruelty if you don’t get in line and obey them.

When I hear Christians talk about the "love of Jesus", I think of Jesus at the end of the New Testament, ankle deep in blood, crushing people to death, glorying in torture and genocide for the sake of his own narcissistic glory and political power.

At the end of the New Testament, Jesus threatens to crush all the non-Christians on Earth in a giant winepress, creating a gigantic lake of blood. I don't want to be in that bloody One Nation Under God.

Normal isn’t coming back, they say, Jesus is. They expect Jesus to slaughter non-Christians when he returns.

Thy Kingdom come is a prayer for the day when Jesus will cram so many human bodies into a winepress that the resulting lake of blood will be six feet deep and 640 kilometers across, as foretold in Revelation in their Bible.

A violent and jealous version of Jesus can be found in the New Testament’s Book of Revelation, chapter 14. This Jesus was not a nice guy.
