Unloving Jesus Luke Chapter 12 divides people not peace

Christian Nationalism is inspired by the most ugly parts of the Bible. Some of the teachings of Jesus are not at all loving. Let’s stop denying that.

In chapter 12 of the Gospel of Luke, for example, Jesus specifically teaches that peace is not desirable. Jesus doesn’t want peace on earth. Jesus wants to divide people from each other.

When people say that Christian Nationalism is not from the teachings of Jesus, that lets you know they have no idea of the scope of the teachings of Jesus.

In the Gospels, Jesus provides plenty of material to inspire people who are determined to be hateful and destructive.

Christian Nationalism is Christianity.

Let’s deal with that.
