You Say Jesus Loves. I See Christians Hate

When you say your religion is about love, but I see it beating up our democracy, I think you have no idea what love is.

You say Jesus loves. I see Christians hate.

Your Jesus hasn’t been seen for two thousand years. I’m going to trust what I see with my eyes over the invisible things you say I should have faith in.

With Christians in control of all three branches of the US federal government, they aren’t making people’s lives better. They’re bombing people. They’re firing people from their jobs. They’re taking medicine away from the sick and food away from the hungry. They’re working hard to give Christianity more control over Americans’ private lives.

I see evidence every day that Christianity values violence and authoritarianism.

I think I know what real Christian values really are.
