Let's look at the record. Godless Americans have been, in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections, the most consistent opponents of Donald Trump, with over 70 percent of non-religious Americans voting against Donald Trump.
At the same time, the majority of American Christian voters repeatedly voted for Donald Trump.
So, who's immoral? Who's depraved? It certainly isn't godless Americans.
Godless Americans are people who choose, of their own free will, not to be part of any religion that worships any god. What's wrong with that? Godless Americans are egalitarian and focus on human needs in the here and now. Isn't that someone you would want as your neighbor.
It's time to stop buying into the Christian Nationalist conceptual frame that assumes that being a Christian is the same thing as being a good person. Often, it isn't.
