Christianity is as Christianity DOES. The number one teaching of American Christianity right now is: Deport Thy Neighbor. It's non-Christians who lead the way in opposition to Trump, while the majority of Christians voted for him in the last three elections.

Apologists for American Christianity keep saying that Christian Nationalism isn’t “real Christianity”, but let’s get real about this.

Christians say that their god is the all-powerful owner and controller of the universe and that everything happens as part of god’s plan.

Well, if the Christian god has a plan that involves having Christian Nationalists transform the United States into a Christian Nationalist fascist dictatorship, I’d say that it looks like the Christian god is himself a Christian Nationalist, and that Jesus is either a fascist or a completely imaginary being.

Either way, American Christianity is enabling fascism.
